Stay

Stay

You say you want me to stay,
Your habits have become your ways,
The marks have become stains,
That we cant wash away.

You say you want to change,
Words and actions aren’t the same,
You repeat it, till you believe it,
But you can't hide the shame.

You say you need me,
Like flowers need the rain,
Though my heart believes you,
I have to listen to my brain.
