Stay Above the Water

I feel like I am drowning and I can't find land. I can't find a sturdy place to stand. I have been sinking for four months now. I am tired and struggling for air, it is hard to stay above the water. Especially when I am standing on a sinking island. I try searching for the lighthouse I use to stay at. But the strong and ferocious seas took me, took me away from my lighthouse. I miss that lighthouse. I hate that I can visit on certain days at the same set time when the tide is low. I rarely look up at the sky anymore, that is probably the reason why I am stuck in the storm in the middle of the sea. I often wonder when the sky will bring me sunshine and eventually let me go back to my lighthouse.
