STIGMA

STIGMA

If you're black, you may have a problem,
apartheid ended in South Africa nearly thirty years ago,
ironically, it still exists - it will always exist
until only God decides to do something about it.

There will be changes but probably cosmetic,
no matter how many statues may be pulled down,
even 'policeless' areas like Seattle are inflamatory,
your so-called lot in life has become mandatory.

Not defeatist talk, realistic - thats the way it is;
it would be nice if everything was hunkeydory -
but it 'aint and probably never ever will be,
no drugs, knives, you might stand a chance - otherwise not.

Keep praying, no good asking the'whites' - there shites,
final word - don't 'push' it  because the far right are itching for fights.
