STONE SOULS

PEBBLE FROM A BRIDGE

The unwatched, unseen, uncharted island
Diverse streaming challenges
broken, torn yellow crystal streams
gasping flowery fingers dipped
screaming screams bleed.

Sleeping, dreaming, marrow filled bones
drifting amongst sharp metal silverfish
graffiti lined the concrete shells
creaking and sway to circus beating tunes
An old forgotten man
chewing bloody on a pebble, a stone
forgotten stubs of grey sky
broken dawns slip the stone from side to another side

Beneath a vestal vision
smooth creasing lanes
throbbing tormented thoughts
play strange games on slippery
suicidal plans.
 drawn with lead-filled tubes

The statuesque figure still slipping
a pale orange pebble from crushed hope to stillborn hip
falling from a tobacco cocaine grip
it rolls from kerbside sex
till fates tender laughter
places the wet juiced orange pebble
against the girl's scruffy red wheels
bending and tearing horizons
she places the pebble
between her blushing bride lips

And moves the hard crush
from one side
to another side

Silence
Silence

except for the clatter
and raining of fine fragmented
THOUGHTS
