The Storm

The Storm

The storm rages turns life upside down

The lightening strikes upon the ground

Where will it turn, which way will it go

No where to run, no where to hide

Until this raging  storm subsides…

The water turns rough the waves crash down

The fighting of the wind, the screams within

Getting closer every minute to the waters

Edge as the tide rolls in, it's getting dark

But can't you see this storm rages inside of me.

The rain pounds , I can't see,  its fury is

Surrounding me. The storm rages on, the

Sky turns black will I ever make it back.

Where is the sun and the birds in the sky

Where is the beauty, Where is the light

Where is the relaxing sound of the waves

Where is the rainbow coming to save.

I don't know,  I can't see, but a storm

Rages over me. The water is getting deep,

I can't breathe, I reach out my hand

As the darkness closes in

Lord help me, don't let me die tonight

Please bring back the sunlight….

Hi Jacqueline Cain,

Excellent write, thanks for sharing, my applause, my vote

I love the below lines,

I don't know,  I can't see, but a storm

Rages over me. The water is getting deep,

I can't breathe, I reach out my hand

As the darkness closes in

Lord help me, don't let me die tonight

Please bring back the sunlight….

Regards
