Stranger

Stranger

I felt like I needed you
So I continued to chase
Little did I know
It would be my own heartbreak

I wanted to talk things through
Only since you have been absent
I grew
I became someone
You once knew
                   A stranger.

One day you’re going to remember
How much I loved you
How much I cared
You’re going to miss the memories
That unfortunately we never shared
Then you’re gonna hate yourself
For letting me go

Family means nothing in some people’s eyes
I’m done with this heartache
I’m done with goodbyes
I simply say I wish the best for you
There was a relationship there
One in which you blew.

                           I am a distant stranger.
