STRANGER DAY ------------------------------------------------ LIFE CLIMAX LIFE CLIMAX

Stranger day

I watch her fold her fingers
into some forgotten child's game
an arthritic religion blooms
the choir crackles and cracks
years kiss dark responses
hunched into my corner
lurking inside my mind
I become her shadow
authentic history
so appealing and so blind

TheĀ  green promise glass
holding within now justĀ  an empty delusion
wine drips from the curve

STRANGER DAY

Reacted lovers
stutter in a climactic explosive realization
life
life
life

She retreats from the broken church
plays determined but soft
with the white circles of hard powder
playfully
she flicks one rider across a stained wood table

STRANGER DAY

The heavy oak door
splintered under the young nervous boot
wearing a uniform carved into his young frame
he halted
picking loose smiles
that were littered on the red tile floor

written on a single piece of
frayed almost chewed paper

LIFE
LIFE
LIFE

SAVED AGAIN
