STRONG CONFIDENCE

Steadfast assurance, steadfast faith
The state of one's mind
Who trusts and holds to what is true
Their confidence, defined
We know in Whom we believe
We put no confidence in eyes, to see
But rising above every circumstance
We remain at peace and free

In our afflictions, we count it joy
As we wait for His help to come
His angels to deploy

We are held securely in His hand

As He holds and keeps us still
We are Your witnesses
To the Word of Your grace
May they see our life hid in Christ
As we serve and seek Your face
