dark, ruthless—like mescaline.
Where a lone ghost is laid,
and other ghosts convene.

I hear you moan and gasp,
your pleasure in the deep haven.
You reach for what you cannot grasp
like a dark and ancient raven.

Your body, once enthralled
wakes unto the chains it wore.
Disheveled…stupid…enwalled
thus, famished, as before.

And I, proud paragon,
breathe in the ghostly air.

so ravished by despair.

so devilishly vile.
