Summer Rain

Summer Rain

It is now almost four months.
Fourteen weeks and three days
to be exact.
The warm cleansing
 rains of summer
Wash your taste
from my lips.
Almost as if you had
never touched them .

As if the purity of the  salty
sea rain could wash 
you away completely.
Leaving nothing of you.
Except perhaps for the
tiniest of tears falling 
from my eyelashes.
