Superstition

Dance and dance until it rains
Smoke your pipe for peace
Roll a dice just once or twice
And live by your beliefs

A mirror smashed will cause bad luck
So screw a horseshoe above your door
Just don't walk under ladders
And avoid cracks on the floor

The black cat watches as you salute
The lone magpie, then you should
Throw salt over your shoulder
And knock knock knock on wood

It may be friday the 13th
But you'll come to no harm
With your trusty four leaf clover
And a rather itchy palm

Did you pick up your rabbit foot
As you left the wrong side of bed
Or did you open your umbrella in the house
And curse yourself instead

God bless you as you sneeze
And turn that green car away
How many superstitions
Do you live by today
