Poem -

Sweet Dreams

I close my eyes in blissful sleep
and pray in beauty, dreams may keep
to see the calm, yet not awake
and banish nightly terrors sake
In golden rivers soft sweet sigh
as sleepily I float on by
to grasp the strands of passing dreams
the sleeping world's own strengthened beams
Past columns where nymphs congregate
to crystal arches of the gate
I calmly pass to grasp the seal
that broken will dreams reveal
the softest whispers, skin caressed
as silently my body rests
while merrily I drift away
in presence of sweet dreams, I stay.
