Tea and Coffee

Bev erages sipped as she turned over the pages,
stains showed themselves in some various stages;
tanin was left in, to leave it out was really a sin,
when dispensing was done, it was time to begin.

Earl Grey exchanged with Darjeeing, left you feeling
replete and thoughtful when you looked at the ceiling;
we solved the problems of the world holding court,
smiled in agreement and then did as we were taught.

Others could make a mocha of the whole damn thing,
but knew you were in for treat as you heard kettle sing;
perhaps we could try a Java to get you in a lather,
although someone said: 'More tea vicar,' 'Yes rather.'Β 

Someone mentioned 'laced,' philistine - a lack of taste,
must relax, enjoy, savor and cherish with less haste.
