Tears

Tears

       Tears
Will you shed
a tear, when
melodies
no longer are heard
I shall.

Will you shed
a tear, when
angelic voices
no longer sing
I shall.

Will you shed
a tear, when
songs of love
no longer are sung
I shall.

Will you shed
a tear, when
words of hope
are no longer written
I shall.

I will shed  many a tear
for this is what i fear
to die, on a lonely shore
to hear no more.
