All I Remember

All I Remember

All I remember
is that somewhere
at some time
on some day
we wed.

All I remember
is that,
at some time
on some day
a child was born.

All I remember
is that,
sometimes were good
sometimes were bad.

All I remember
is that
in a court somewhere
we divorced.

In between
there is nothing
trying hard
thinking and thinking.

Only a sadness prevails
my mind frail
a lonely emptiness
fills the void

A long life lived
but nothing survived
no memories to be revived
waving in silence goodbye
with a stifled war cry.
