Poem -
Tears Finally Fall
my throat
hurting on words
words of venom which runs through my veins
as tears burns my eyes
biting my lip until I taste blood
biting hard feeling the coat squeeze around my heart needing the coat to block out the darkness felt inside
laying on cold pavement faint sounds as the moon fades
into the midnight sky
wishes go unheard by stars echoing the pain
mourning memories as I watch hell’s demons
drain the bloody poison out oozing I close my eyes
tears finally fall knowing things
will never be the same
