Poem -
Tears I Hate To Cry
Just A Poem.......
These haunted dreams which I've held dear
are etched within my mind
Which remind me of those better days
in another place and time
Though,I can't escape the tortured past
with all these vivid thoughts
The hate I feel explodes inside
from all the pain it's wrought
I've asked the Lord to take my life
but still I roam these halls
Just a shell of who I use to be
another memory on the walls
I attempt to leave them in the past
but fail with every try
So I'll embrace the hurt and pain
with tears I hate to cry
Now all that I look forward to
is finally being free
To take my final breath I feel
is all that's left for me

A" like" I hate to give! not for the poem,the poem is great! but for the sadness I had to endure reading it! I've asked for the same thing, but not for depression anymore, for release of physical pain. I guess being able to express emotion in words is exceptional, but please don't make me suffer too often! Nice write! trying to give the stars!
