Technology Equals Psychology

Today, in this time in age, has become nothing but technology
This is equalling to much more needed psychology
Instead of phone calls or visits we turn to the Internet
Monitors and keyboards is now why we tend to forget
Forgetting how it makes one feel to have a personal friend 
Someone to come over when your broken heart needs to mend
Someone to be on the phone with when it gets late at night
A friend to give you a hug and tell you that everything will be alright
It doesn't matter if we live hours apart or even within a mile
It is now Facebook and texting to try and spread a smile
Technology is great especially for our troops in the war
Keeping in touch from the distance unlike it was before
But back to the ones that live as close as a neighbor
Acting like, to leave the house would be more like manual labor
More psychologists are needed to give that personal touch
Face to face words with feelings that mean so much
We wonder why we forget and what is wrong with technology
It has come to the point when we now don't mind paying for personal psychology
