Teddy bears and Kittens

Teddy bears and Kittens

Teddy bears and kittens

are sleeping on my bed

hard to tell them apart

so still, they could be dead

The teddies just sit there

while kittens purr away

breathing so steadily

they've slept throughout the day

Teddies are protective

with their arms open wide

smiling at the kittens

that have curled up there to hide

They all look contented

their collars are bright red

Teddy Bears and kittens

curled up on bed spread
