Teenagers

Teenagers

Only last night,

Whilst lying in bed,
A crazy thought,
Entered my head,

These children of mine,
Could fly the nest,
In eight years time,
I might get some rest,

Now don't get me wrong,
I love them dearly,
But teenage girls,
Are so desperately dreary,

They test your patience,
And drain your finances,
Then take the piss,
Despite the chances,

My girls are awesome,
In their own right,
But I can't wait for a time,
That they don't always fight.
