How I tell you is the hardest part 
The way you look at me will never be the same again 

When I say the words your face will crumble
Into shear heart break and pain 

I want you to look at me the way you did
Before us became the past 

I can see fear in your eyes when you look at me
Worries and questions unasked 

I wish we could go back to yesterday,  
when it was just you and I 

Today we have an uninvited guest, 
killing me and making you cry 

I hate the sadness I brought upon you 
I never want to say goodbye 

The thought of not living life with you
It tears me up inside 

I wish you could look at me like once before 
Like when we played when young 

I wish for your heart to sing again
The ones we left unsung
