Poem -
Tempest Fire
Ship in dire sails murky depths,
Victim to livid tempest breadth.
Silhouette in vast in billows bloom,
Darkened night bestows in doom.
Burdened giant in night air seek,
Casts its flame on masts in meek.
Frantic men in duck and shadow,
Enthralled in flame in keep and harrow.
Alight in crimson, blast untamed,
In search of ruin and men in maim.
Scaly beast in squall in dusk,
Epic wingspan and ravenous tusk.
Broken masts and hull breached,
Steadily carried into cliffs and rock,
Ship wreck lay in debris and beached,
Merciless beast dines on flock.

I will stay because each time I don't get any likes for 100s of views at first I'm unsure but then it drives me to write the next one better untill I get an audience.Β No one ever said writing was easy ha ha.
It took me years to get an audience. It drives me bonkers when I get tons of views but nary a comment. I get so frustrated cause I comment on loads of work and get very little feedback back.Β
It is very frustrating but dare I say also that poetry is a difficult area of writing and not everyone gets it.
I can understand that but than I have to say... theyβre definitely on the wrong site lol
