Templar

In days of old, the Knights were bold,
Receiving a thunderous applause.
Brutally slicing throats for gold,
In the name of God.
-------------------------------------
With all the gold, safe in the hold,
They started writing notes.
Enjoying the wealth, that they controlled.
At night they loaded their boats.
------------------------------------
All was well, with no fortell,
Across the Seas they sailed.
The Peasants happily trading their notes,
Forgot to bid farewell.
-----------------------------------
So while we dance, with romance,
Of these Knights of olde.
Remember the one, with the truthful lance.
No secret shall be withhold
-----------------------------------
Nearly wiped out, Without a doubt,
On Friday the thirtheenth.
Very few had survived to the year,
Of two thousand seventieth.
------------------------------------
They lived their years, with constant fears,
Protecting Women and Children.
Never relaxing, even drinking beers,
Always aware of Villians.
------------------------------------
Evolving into, A heart that's true,
A musician with a guitar.
He's a feisty little fella.
Born with the name Templar.
