Ten Below Zero- Are You Nuts Or Are We

It’s now ten below zero outside, as cold as it could be;
Our Florida bones are freezing, are you nuts, or is it we?
We had a choice to stay in Florida, or move up here to the North;
We didn’t expect “Old Man Winter”, to bring such frigid air us forth!
.
The sun outside is shining, and the sky is powder blue;
But if you dare to go out and enjoy it, it will freeze the ass off you!
This is not for what we bargained, 25 degrees below the norm;
We’ve become agoraphobic, in this freakin’ Winter storm!
.
It has to soon get better, for it could not get much worse;
Thank God for the potent potables, which I freely do disperse!
We are counting every day now, till comes Spring, and Winter’s thaw;
But until then, our newest credo, is “There ought to be a law”!
