Ten Years After

Ten years from now,
I am reasonably sure
I may not remember
your name, or your
number, should you
ever dare give them
to me .. But have no
doubt at all, I am sure
to recall, that fire in
those eyes, of yours
the like of which,
I had not seen before
and may never again,
until the day that I die
