The Appointment

Lots
of people had sat
in ThAt chair

that's why
myself
diidn't want
To sit there

It was livid with sadness
It had held broken things
I could sense on the one side
some devils and things
On the other... some angels
I could hear both sides shout
but I wasn't for sitting...
I was saneĀ  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  I was so out

Of There...

My initial thoughts were that this had something to do with Fritz Perl and Gestalt Therapy .. but then I thought differently .. then I looked again and my initial review notes had entirely disappeared leaving behind only my vote and my like .. that seems to be happening more and more often, is anyone else experiencing these glitches? XĀ

ps the x above is meant for Marion .. cheers, NevilleĀ

Oh excellent thoughts Nev, I hadn't specifically thought of that particular therapy but yep...any and allĀ  kinds would suffice
...mostly to rid us of the ridiculous notion that we are all completely sane and shall never be requiring
...ThAt chair...
thanks for the x...here xx back 😊😊

You don’t have to sit in that chair Marion. Leave it alone, it is not for sitting. Just like a bad dream, we don’t want to re-play it. Maybe you burn it? I can send you some matches. Instead, you could sit on a wave and let it sooth you with its calm waters. Hugs.

And that is one beautiful thought...
calm waters. The sea is almost a spiritual presence in itself isnt it. It talks to us with many voices or maybe just mirrors our own changing waves Thankyou...hugs x

Marion, you’ve just made a poem. Would you publish it?
Maybe yes?Ā

This is quite good--very interesting enjambment, structure, great closing line. And brilliant description of the feelings evoked by "ThAt chair" (the alternating case in "ThAt" is interesting and imparts a surreal tone).
