That you have always been beneath me
Well, it turns out they were right
It's time for me to go away

Short and to the point. You could have just had the first 3 lines. I love the line "well it turns out they were right." Says everything. The recipient will probably wish they hadn't begged the writer to produce a poem. Poetic justice?
Precisely. If you want a writer to write about you, then you should inspire them with your actions, not demand, beg, or moan while giving them nothing at all to work with. I'm glad that this was received so well by other writers. I think we all relate to this. This is a poem only truly appreciated by other poets. Thank you for the comment.
