The Best Climate

The Best Climate

Of course, we know that the goalposts had moved,
climate change had ensured things will not improve;
I lived in some of the best, temperate magical air,
lifting you to a sense of security where you no longer care.

I went to the Garden of Eden conveniently in my dreams,
where lions brushed my legs and nothing was as it seems,
the tree of knowledge loomed in the beautiful distance,
but there was nothing to spoil anything just by chance.

Back on Earth, we sat on a balcony looking out to sea,
come see the sunset, I've seen it before, don't ignore mystery,
don't ignore just how lucky you may be and also how free,
seize the moments, when you didn't dream where you wanted to be.

They can't take away those golden times, the memory where,
we danced together under shooting stars because we were there.
