The Blue Wren

Skies fragment as it's sweet song echos through morbid clouds.
Each bright wings (sweep) opens a new pathway.
A change of direction as wind blows
The little Blue Wren finds her place.

the Blue...both seas & skies....the Blue...be in me & you....
Thank you x
You have such a talent young lady! not only beautiful words to fill our minds with wonderfully rich imagery but visually a soft and gentle portrayal of the brave and determined subject matter..lovely work! xx
My Dear Lorna,
You have said so much in just four beautiful lines.
And when I first saw the lovely illustration you created, before knowing it was yours, I thought it was a watercolor study by some well known artist.
On wings of a wren
I soar high into the clouds
Billowing beauty
All my love,
Larry xxx
Hi Lorna,
you are really gifted.
Your painting complements the poem.
Short and nice.
I am about to leave this page with a broad smile on my face .. I imagine I shall be wearing it for most of the day .. even though I will be at work .. x
Ahh I'm glad you like this one, it was done for a friend of mine who had a little grandchild named Wren.
The painting is also a hobby of mine but I haven't painted for quite some time now... dont work too hard
I am all but finished .. But what an amazing coincidence ..
my granddaughters middle name is Wren ..
Ahh such an unusual name too! Very coincidental
:) x
