From afar its mission begins to gather strength.
Its duty? To banish the before and bring forth new resolutions
These will secure the chapters that have yet to be written
Pasts voyage has been discovered as we ponder its memory
We rode the waves of the highs and lows through its journey
and as its farewell exits, unknowns future breezes in
On arrival it will shower the essence of mystery as breath
welcomes it through that open door
Time won't stand still as the tide immerses life in its blindfold
because on stepping stones the unknown always resides one step ahead
But through the sun, wind and rain, existence still upholds its promise
