Poem -

The cat sat on the mat.

Grimalkin hunkered atop a drugget eyeing,
The ill-tempered old hag squatted amidst her tatami.
Matcha simmers in the kyūsu as she cursed,
Maud for setting mousy free.

The rodent teased tabby from under a cedar Tansu,
Nibbling tasty tea leaves freshly picked a week before.
But meg is a patient puss as she awaits her revenge,
And dreams of tasting the marauding tea flavoured mus.
