The Child Of The Sea
For Poetess Darklyβs Sea Challenge
I am the offspring of Poseidon, a child of the Sea;
For a Crab, the seventh Zodiac, is the sign representing me!
That explains my innate affinity, for the ocean and the beach;
The epitome of euphoria, when their majesty I reach!

The sands of time I trod on, feel fine beneath my feet;
The salt and sacred aromas, my nostrils gently greet!
The pounding surf excites me, my heart racing with every wave;
Their ebb and flow enchanting, βpoetry in motionβ, my Soul raves!

Soon I wade into the water, thatβs been here millions of years;
It wraps its arms around me, and alleviates my fears!
I am swimming in the ocean, atop The Sea Of Love;
Reveling in this gift to mankind, from the Heavens up above!
