The Dark Side of the Clown

The Dark Side of the Clown

Fun and entertaining am I said the clown with the painted face
Full of laughs as I create some magic tricks and make balloon animals for kids
But am I just putting on a false face so no one sees my disgrace
Do writers like Stephen King find me rather repulsive
Dark and creepy with all the fake makeup how can I be trusted
In real life I am just an ordinary person trying to make a living
But some find it more appealing if I scare them silly
With my sharpened teeth and my mouth filled with blood
For the dark side of the clown has always been around
So you may want to think twice before you have a birthday slice
While I play games with the big kids I will be in all their dreams

and all their nightmares
Don’t be surprised by my makeup as it appears to come alive
Just let the writer know I will be in his next attraction in his next picture show premiere

and we will see who survives the dark side of the clown
Be sure to hang around for all the kicks and screams

Hello Nancy...

Stephen King find you repulsive?

I doubt it...

I would more likely say if he wasn't married he'd talk you into buying the Munsters Mansion with him...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...
