Poem -

The end of Winter

When the spring deigns
To come to me to warm
This heart now chilled by
Such prolonged waiting
In the obscurity of nature's
Sleepy winter
Longing for a little warmth to
Chase this sense of indifference
Almost rooted in my mind
And finish with this lack
Of warmth which exalts the senses
And sends to the soul an intense
Feeling that is suddenly awoken
Blessed be the welcome heat

Hi Francesca. Spring and summer are magical...something in the air....makes you feel alive on a lovely day! Great words and so rightly to hear. We all need that warmth. Pxxx
