The fairest of them all

You say that I must be crazy
and there's something wrong with my eyesÂ
you say that you don't believe meÂ
and you think I'm telling lies
you say that you're not the person
That I say that you are
You said that you're more like piece of coal
And not a bright shining star
You said your clothes is ragged
And dirt covers your feet
And that you have to be the simplestÂ
Person that I have ever meet
And how I can say I love you
When the world is so wide
With beauty and magic in big cities
With so many beautiful girls inside
But a heart knows what a heart wants
And my heart wants you
Wealth and earthly possessions
Have no place in the heart, if love is true
And It don't make you specialÂ
By the way, you wear your hairÂ
And it don't mean that you're beautifulÂ
Because you have a lovely smile
and you may look like a super model
With those designers clothes, you wear
But if you look in your heart
There may be a lot of ugliness there
But to see the true beauty of someone
You got to look much deeper inside
And you can cover it with rags
But if the beauty is there it cannot hide
And you are the most beautiful of them all
Your voice I carry in my heart with love
And whatever you may think that you are
It's something I want to be a part of
And if all the stars should fall from the sky
And darkness covers it all
I know that there will be no confusion
Because you are the brightest star of all
I wish I could give you my eyes
Just to see what I see when I look at you
You are more radiant that the sunset
And the glisten of the morning dew
I rather the smell of hay in your hair
Or the grass in the fall
and though you may wear ragsÂ
But you are the fairest of them all
So you could talk from now and until tomorrow
About why I shouldn’t love youÂ
And give me reasons big and small
But it don’t matter what you said
You are the fairest of them all
