The Fate Of The Stars

The Fate Of The Stars

The power supposed to predetermine events,
'predetermine' indeed! Did Elvis's death make sense?
Buddy Holly's plane crashed into a mountainside,
Del Shannon committed suicide, failure, so he died.

Prince was found coiled up inside and out,
Mercury with aids, no longer able to shout,
now, Sir Cliff was vindicated with lack of clues,
so many accused, maligned, with sexual abuse.

The life of so-called downers and uppers is limited,
Jacko did his moon walk sooner than expected,
Ella didn't deserve a life with a cancerous end,
after giving pleasure to millions they could depend.

Lennon was murdered before he could say goodbye,
would you like to be a star if you had chance to try?

Yes!!!...seriously I don't know, strikes me in order to convey true emotion you need to first feel it and for that reason I think many artistic people suffer MH and depression, which can often lead to a downward spiral of addiction etc because they can't bear the turmoil of their minds....great white Terry, made me think...always a bonus ??
