How can I be sure that this
isn't a one sided love
am I prone again to be the one who's left to fall from above?

Is there gonna be someone
who'll catch me if I fall?
Or is this going to be the same you'll leave me like nothing at all?

Anxieties are eating my mind
like hyenas feasting on me
Can you be the one who'll save a scrap of meat or just leave me be?

To think that the Empire State of Mind is so high what do you think if you see me falling by your side would you react 3rd of a second to catch me?

Should I really be waiting for this love that's almost too good to be true? Or should I just leave my self falling to you.
