The Frustration of Not Knowing

The Frustration of Not Knowing

Once,a walking encyclopaedia
 A memory second to none
Now that illness is inside ya
 All the knowledge has gone

Family times,are not even memories
 Who the hell are you
The frustration of not knowing
 What are you to do

All you want is your memory back
To give you half a chance
Just to rekindle the thoughts you had
 you'd do a merry dance

Anger builds inside you
You can't do what you once did
Speech about gone, what's wrong with you
 Fed like an elderly kid

Makes you wonder,if there is a God
 He shouldn't have created this
The greatest thing he could do for us
Is throw Alzheimer's into the abyss
