The Grass Is Greener On This Side

Yes it is - I have things which others could never own;
I have a Malaysian wife with great qualities, let it be known,
of course, 'recollections may vary' but mine are clear,
not without hiccups, not without an inevitable tear.

I've written the love poems, now they're etched in stone,
it certainly makes a difference from being home-alone, 
but they're are prices to pay for that greener grass,
unless you adapt to some stringent tests, you may not pass.

God made plans, gave direction, whether you believe or not,
don't be greedy, think of success, be thankful for what you've got,
time is short, your level, your existence will never come again,
what a formidable team we became - me Tarzan and you Jane.

Well, at least someone is happy, can be rare these days,
with the trauma amongst us, open up to the sun's rays.
