Poem -

The Grey Ram

The more you tighten your grip....
the more they will slip through your fingers....

It amazes how,
all can be taken,
on the will of another,
innocence already guilty,
of another's opinion.

all shared the work,
all shared the time,
what was built,
what was grown.

And blame can be named,
the recipient shamed,
no mirror is present,
the sick are the guilty.

Righteous are fallen,
the guilty are free,
only guilty that learn,
how to be free.
