THE ICONIC MUSIC VENUE

The place is jumping like it always did 
Been going there since I was a kid 
This iconic music venue was all the rage
With its white facade and built up stage 

If you went past you wouldn't know it was there
Only musicians and their fans give it tender loving care
If you like music it's the place to be seen
All artists have appeared there from The Beatles to Queen

However a big man in the council had his say
This iconic music venue has had its day 
It will be sad when this place finally closes down
Just another dirty eyesore in a dirty old town
