The Immolator

The Immolator

Burn my skin,
Scorch me from within--
I'm writhing in sin,
Make me feel again--

I'm tired of being dead--
Ignite my soul of lead--
Feed me your icy breath--
Show me the eyes of death,

Not a minute longer--
Do I wish to grow stronger--
Even as the flames flicker,
And my lip begins to quiver,

Pour on the gasoline.

Ignite me.
Burn me.

Open another can--
Throw away the lid.

Over me stand,
As fresh flames pick,
At my screaming flesh,

Melting away.

Smile,
As I burn serenely,
Plumes of billowing ashes,

Wisping away.

The whispering tranquility
of the fire's flames,
Casting
Onto my battered soul.

A torch for humanity,
That illuminates society's
Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Black Sins,

I shall be.Ā
