The Jury

The Jury

Whatever happened, they asked me for a decision,
however, either way may be greeted with derision,
what do you want me to do? Manslaughter ?
Involuntary or with intent, you tell me Mr.

God, it's difficult, between a rock and a hard place,
at the end of the day, it may be an about-face,
how do you prove, irrespective of all those events,
you think you're so clever, tell me what's common sense.

Majority verdict we were told, no info we lack,
wouldn't like to be judge passing sentence if he was black,
or maybe other as well, my tenure is bad enough,
that's about it, if you don't like our result - tough.

One thing is for sure amidst all this aggro and pain,
there is no deterrent - the same thing will happen again.

HI tony,
Thanks so much for the pin.
Watch the space in the next few weeks -
there will be some difficult jury decisions
to make.
Stay safe.
Love,
Terry.
