The lady in the Mirror

Her voice was cracked, she hadnβt spoken for a while,
βI know her, who can that be?β
βI remember the hair, the beautiful smile,
βah... yes, that used to be meβ
As her reflection returned her gaze
She began to see someone much younger,
And her mind drifted back through the haze
To a young woman so much stronger
It looked like her, but how old now?
She Dare not even guess her age,
βI feel the years and the time somehowβ
βBut it all feels like the same pageβ
She felt the love of a child squeezing her hand
βShe was ours, and we love her so muchβ
A comb through her hair, brought her back to now,
As she felt the carers touch
She frowned at the carer, whoβs eyes filled with tears
And wondered why this should be,
βDonβt cry my dear, ...oh isnβt this strange?β
βYou look a little like me.β

Aw such a moving touching poem as you write on the old woman's behalf as she recalls her youth so imaginatively. Awesome poetic reflections. Kudos!!!
