The Light Within

You feel the fire burning but you can't find the flame
Your voice of reasoning keeps calling out the answer-it's your own name
Hidden in your heart's chambers a secret dwells deep 
And when it's unlocked, through your pores it'll slowly seep
You're always looking for attention to grow externally
When people claim your beauty you think of it as a hyperbole
You're always trying to find someone to keep your heart steady 
But you'll unveil the knowledge whenever your mind's ready 
The answer is not out there, in other people, or an object your eye can capture
But within yourself- when that seed blossoms and bestows it's mighty rapture 

Close your eyes and focus on what's below 
Only then will your seed be watered, and then begin to grow
You'll crack the code to your heart's own desire
Soon you'll see you're the only one to ignite that fire

You'll find self love and see your skin begin to glow
People will turn away, when they look at you they already know
 You unlocked freedom and found love unconditional
You overcame that barrier and it was transitional 
Now you're dancing to the rhythm of your heart's own violin
And you found happiness when you finally found The Light Within.
