The Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter

I am the jester who lost his jingle.Β
The bells rang so much, my ears began to tingle.Β
\Amidst the clutter and the clatter,Β
Along with the noise and the haste,Β
The mad artist scurried along to find the paste.Β
\The Mad Hatter's girlfriend becameΒ
Vehemently bitter,Β
Because during the frightful rushΒ
He basically forgot her.Β
\Then finally - before sleep timeΒ
With the flood gates ajarΒ
Her memory jolted way back from afarΒ
\Fantasy Island had finally rung true.Β
But for whom does the bell toll; is it me or is it you?
