I'm talking with the man in the mirror
A once blurry vision now clearer
I wonder what I will become
In this cold cruel world tell me what have I truly done?
I once tripped out when I seen two men kissing
I didn't want to understand and I didn't want to listen
Who was I to judge?
Who was I to question love
I'm talking to the man in the mirror
I'm getting old and my end is getting nearer
I wonder where I will go
I'm wondering what my future will show
Will it be Heaven or hell?
I wonder what story will I leave behind for them to tell
I'm talking to the man in the mirror
Love! I no longer fear her
I kiss her little forehead before she sleeps
Theses are those little memories I want to keep
I wonder will I provide for her
Because God knows I'll already die for her
I just hope I get it right
This new meaning to my life
I'm talking to the man in the mirror!

Hey MORRIS!! ~ this is VERY insightful....... hey man you do what you have to do in this life...... people need a reason to believe....... and it seems those little kisses on her forehead are more than worthwhile.........VERY cool timing in this piece..... and the fact that you're making observations about the man in the mirror says ALOT about your character brother poet!!.......ALL STARS......... great read!!........ peace........T xo
