Autumn's Kaleidoscope
Mother Nature …… She is pleased to see the shedding of her leaves - in autumn gold! The earthy scent is in the air of crispy leaves from trees made bare; spun out of russet, orange, and gold, blankets the landscape rich and bold. And, for sleepy wildlife, a shelter from impending cold - but snug, for now, in the warmth of earth's gown, in the mellow days of autumn gold.
Blustery winds sweep the leaves high above the ground - and in the calm, they gently trickle down - like confetti all around - Oh, what a show: A Kaleidoscope of color projects before your eyes, and a picture in your mind revolves ...... of mellow days of autumn gold!

Many thanks for your kind words - I love Autumn too and this year it has been particularly fantastic - colours seem to be so beautiful and Autumn seemed to last longer this year! Haven't been with cosmofunnel very long, but seems to be a lovely happy family, so glad I joined. Have been a bit busy lately, but must get back to reading the lovely poetry on this site.

Thank you for your kind comments. Have not had a lot of time to write, but hope to get back to poems shortly. So sorry for your loss; it's never easy to get through this, and is heartbraking when you love you pets so much; they are indeed part of the family. It's always a bit easier when you have other pets to look after.
