The Midnight Rider

The wind howls in the silence ofΒ

the midnight hour

While the trees sway with the

touch of the breezeΒ

This is the hour of the night whenΒ

the rider shall rise from his grave

With all the untold stories of theΒ

past and present within

The clock strikes midnight as the

ground starts to trimbleΒ

And the rider of the night is set free

from the chains that bound him

This is a tale that parents tell childrenΒ

to strike fear in their hearts

Because the rider of the night will

steal the souls within
