A day like no other, making history completed 
The people came together, not to be defeated 
A day to be alive, happy yet aching hearts 
It’s been tough for the people, who felt alone not apart 
The great division in the United States 
What will the next four years bring? What will be there Fate 
Hope for unity in the new chapter of The American story
All standing together for hope, peace and glory 

Ups and downs over the years, the Men have left there mark
Let’s hope one day a woman’s mark left, let’s take us out the dark 

Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Monroe 
Madison, Jackson, Van buren America starts to grow
Harrison, Tyler, Polk, Filmore 
Taylor, Buchanan, There is so many more
Pierce, Lincoln, Johnson and Grant 
All planting their seeds like a magnificent Plant 
Garfield, Arthur, Cleavland and Hayes
So many debates, so many different ways 
Harrison, McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft 
Tears still flow, let’s hear the forgotten laugh
Wilson, Hoover, Harding and Coolidge 
Men who have seen the Golden Gate Bridge 

Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Truman
Shoes to fill, we know he’s only human 
Reagan, Carter, Nixon and Ford
Racism and wars they pray to Jesus our lord
Bush, Clinton, W. Bush then Obama 
Still fights for unity and the ongoing drama
Last but not least Trump and Biden
I hope for America his strength can Widen
To the States and homes that Trump “forgot”
The other side of town he just left to rot 
It’s time to grab America with both hands, let’s erase all the pain 
Here’s to the next four years to Unite the States again
